That was a lovely little read, Lost. It's a bittersweet moment for the story and it sort of reminds me of a few of the magazines I've read in the past before they've folded. It's great, thank you so much for writing the HHC - and it will be published in the next seasonal issue on Inkblots next year....

Hey everyone, I've been delaying the inevitable by putting off writing this very last HHC for the forum. Though it has been a busy week, somehow I just couldn't bear logging into the forum to write these final last words. However, welcome to the final Half Hour Challenge on the Inkwell Forum. They w...

Ooh, I think I missed this HHC back in July, Terra! What a dark and great little read. Sneaky.

I'm so glad I read it now as I've been on the lookout for a HHC that's a little magical for the Winter issue of Inkblots. With that said, I'll be publishing it on November 15th - today. :)

Ooh I was just re-reading this and really enjoyed it. :) I'd like to take an extract of this to pop it into Inkblots' November / December issue. So from "The castle shook" to "high above the wreckage of the city". There's a really nice fight with the Gods and it gives us a little...

“What is it you want, Mary? What do you want? You want the moon? Just say the word and I'll throw a lasso around it and pull it down. Hey. That's a pretty good idea. I'll give you the moon, Mary.” - George Bailey, It's a Wonderful Life As we come into the closing months of 2015, November's HHC them...

Thanks, Terra, glad you're happy to contribute to the mag.

Wow, that email is a strange one - even for a student email! I'll take a note of it, but you're most likely to need a professional email at some stage. :P

This is true. Divorce is such a terrible thing to have to go through. I'm thankful that I've never had to, though know so many who have. The scarring fades in time, but it's never the same. Never whole.

Wow. Sounds powerful Lynx. How interesting!

What's even greater is that I've just started watching Buffy once again as well. Been about 10 years since I last saw the whole series, so thought it was time to crack open that "vampiric" vault again.

Wow. So harsh - can see a little bit of the devil in there!

I really want to know what the Mum was like underneath the skin. Was she that evil? Just hurt? Was her daughter evil, or maybe just hurt? Interesting, good stuff. :) Guess someone's horns were holding up a halo.

Hey guys, it's October and I'm back to present the next half hour challenge. With it being the spooky season (and I've just turned over my Zelda calendar and found a Poe), it's definitely time we get some terrifying tales written. This month's HHC theme is The Devil Inside - no, not the crappy film,...

What an odd school. Or an odd world, as such. I'm assuming this takes place at some point in the future as a sci-fi? I'll probably have to re-read it again to understand the little references here and there. Aleski seems like a really interesting character, along with the world you've built around h...

Wow, interesting. So Juno did become a vampire in the end. And she was a cruel one as well. Eep, remind me to stay out of her way! It does make me wonder what happened in that 60-70 years you skipped regarding Juno and her personality. I never assumed she would be quite as cruel in the beginning, so...

As August approaches, I've got a real need for the taste of some ice cream. Unfortunately, eating it makes me pretty ill. But I always get the Mr Whippy '99 flake instead. When I was a child, my friends and I used to rush over to the ice cream van and pick out what we wanted. Sometimes it would be a...
