Anybody going to participate this year from the forum? I'd love to but I'm literally so busy with reviews and features, it's kinda driving me nuts! So I've got no room for writing let alone inspiration this year.

Dice any thoughts on continuing where you left off on your 2013 entry, or a new one entirely?

And Rae-Chan, I know you're always eager to get involved with events, any thoughts? :)

Anybody else? Feel free to chit-chat on ideas (etc) in this topic.

I was going to do it but then a large amount of my lecturers decided November would be a wonderful month for various serious assignments and tests. I'm so happy.
I had a few ideas and was going to pursue them but now it is a bit of blah. I'm not going to make a NaNoWriMo account but I'm still gonna try for like a thousand words a day (since I've never done something as intense I said I'd kill off 700 words, esp since I'm mainly in 9-6 excluding travel. Busy crap) I might even throw some of it up here and stuff (:

Please do if you have the time. It would be great to read through. :) What's your idea/ideas?

I sense a lot of people are busy with life and facebook, and life and facebook. XD But in all seriousness, it's been very difficult for me to pin any writing down this year other than the odd poem and HHC entry here or there. So I can imagine how difficult it could be for others too. Maybe I'll try for a short horror story before Christmas. Feel like that's probably somewhat do-able.

I was tempted to give this a go this year. Similar to Silver, I think all I have managed to write is the odd poem here and there which is a shame, I thought with lack of essays/reading I would have more time for fun writing this year, but apparently not :( While a full-length piece is definitely out of the question, I'm going to try and get some stuff written this month :D

Yay! That's great to hear Liad. I've really missed reading your poetry. Maybe we should all try and get something done before the end of the year, just to say we've DONE THIS. And then celebrate with wine, or cake, or fizzy pop, or anything else that you can get your hands on at Christmas... (which is basically everything, right?).

:)

I'm probably going to give it a go like I always do... and fail like I always do...
I've got a bunch of stories I could use so I have no idea which one to go for XD

It is a weird idea, no plotline for the moment but just mainly two universes, ours (Transvarial [need to spell check, its a made up word as far as I know]) and an other one know as 'the Other One'. The Other One is a decaying place with sinister experiments going on on people, an infestation of wolfish creatures called gnats and general killings going on. A happy place :) That's mainly all I've got so far but I'm hoping to maybe incorperate the idea of Weavers into the dual universe world as well. We shall see (;

Well, how did NaNoWriMo go for everyone? :)

I ended up whipping up a nice little HHC for November, which I was very pleased with both in terms of writing and the fact I'm actually WRITING. Hurrah!

But I still haven't forgotten about a short horror story before the end of the year. I'm hoping I can do that. :) Probably aiming for around 2-3k in words.

I completely forgot about it until it was too late so I just gave up and decided to leave it until next year XD

Haha, don't we all. I forgot about it as well, but then I definitely wasn't going to be doing anything for it! I would say I'd try next year, but I don't think I ever will get round to it until I'm in my 30s (which admittedly isn't that far away...eep!)

Unfortunately, I didn't get anything properly written. But I did make an outline/plan for something :)
