Hey guys,

I've been thinking about trying to boost our forum activity over the summer season again, due to many of you still in university or college. For those of us that have full-time jobs, it's an excuse for us to relax in the sunshine (if we get any) and do a little bit of writing again!

I'm really starting to get the itch to write fiction or poetry once again, it's been a while for me. And as much as I love writing for work purposes, sometimes I just want to get back to writing for me, rather than to the benefit of everyone else.

So I was wondering if forum members would be up for a Fiction Frenzy Summer Writing Fling - or something to that effect. It will run for the same time period as last time: July 1 - August 31. And there will be two themes again, which will tie in somehow to the Inkblots themes I'm currently running over those two months.

Let me know if you'd be up for it again, as I'm only going to run this if I can get enough activity for it!

Cheers everyone. :)

Hi Silver!
Been too long, I can certainly feel the itch starting again. So I'd be up for this, though so think it'd need to be quite a wide topic to cratch as many people as possible

Hey Dice! WHERE DID YOU GO? :P

Yeah, definitely going to keep a wide topic for this one. August's Inkblots theme is actually just "Sunshine", so perhaps it's worth using that for it as one of the themes. :)

New job mostly, less time due to commutes. Plus mix of non writing projects and mainly laziness :/

I'll be honest, I'm hoping the theme will match with an idea I've been mulling over for a couple of weeks :)

Hey guys. You all look different, new hair-do? xP
I'd be down for the FF definitely. The worst that can happen to me is that I can get a job now that exams are over so, sounds good to me!

I'd definitely be up for this. I miss writing fiction and poems - Been writing so much dull stuff at work.

Awesome! :) I'll start pumping this out to gain activity at the end of June and also mention it in the next Inkblots editorial post.

Actually, I have a really great idea for these two themes that will work excellently together. So stay tuned and I'll announce them both on July 1. And yes, Dice, they are wide-ranging!

No pressure, but I'm now expecting at least three entries in the FF pot. :) I'll also try and write something adequate so there's not just one lonesome entry hanging out in the topic, heh.

I'm in :P So long as the themes aren't too restrictive :P I've been looking for an excuse to write again after all.
